The "lionesses" will not underestimate the Hermaea Olbia. In the environment of Millenium Brescia, which hosts Gallura for the 4th day of the women's A2 volleyball on Sunday, Dino Guadalupi's team enjoys the utmost respect.
An estimate gained in the pre-season on the occasion of the Valchiavenna Tournament, which saw the current leaders of group A win 3-0. "That friendly match allowed us to get to know our opponent better", says Guadalupi, "but things have changed considerably compared to then: for our part, we have had the opportunity to deepen the work and to progress, therefore the one on Sunday it will certainly be a game with different contents ».
Unforeseen result . In spite of the classification and the previous ones, which see Brescia in the lead by 4 victories to zero, the result of the PalaGeorge di Montichiari is not obvious. "All teams, including battleships, have weaknesses," warns the coach of Hermaea, who started the season with two home wins. «The fundamental assumption is that my team plays at the highest possible level, without allowing the opponent to assert his technical caliber».
Undefeated leader . Back in the top flight for two years and willing to return soon, also with a top-level staff, the unbeaten Brescia finds its home building after two away matches in a row: the Olbiesi face, instead, the first external match of the tournament, and both seek continuity. For this Guadalupi focuses above all on concentration. "The enthusiasm after two positive results is certainly good, but the threshold of attention must never drop," explains the manager of Hermaea. «On Sunday we will face the first match against one of the favorites of the group and I want the team to live this experience to the full, bringing to the field what they prepared during the weekly work. We will have to read the game well - he adds -, limit their most dangerous strikers according to the various situations and express a good continuity in serving ».
