After 18 years, the Region is once again hiring new forestry agents. In fact, the last public competition dates back to 2003.

Now, in implementation of the three-year plan of staff needs 2021-2023, some selections will be launched that will bring numerous employees with different professional figures into the regional machine.

The first concerns 78 CFVA agents, reserved for candidates aged between 18 and 30.

"New forces in the field, in a particularly delicate sector, which will be employed in the defense of citizens and our immense environmental heritage," said Governor Christian Solinas.

“In the decades that have passed since its establishment, which took place with the Regional Law no. 26 of 5 November 1985, the Forestry Corps ”, he added,“ has considerably expanded its competences, initially aimed at supervising hunting, fishing and grazing. Today, it embraces all environmental problems, urban planning, landscape, state property and those of public health, thus investing the skills of various departments. It is a structure spread throughout the region, which operates through 7 territorial services, 82 forest stations, 10 naval bases. Recently, the CFVA has passed directly under the Presidency ”.

The competition will consist of a written test, an oral-practical test and, for suitable candidates, a training course at the Regional Forestry School or in another public institute.

For the acquisition of participation applications, considering the large number expected, the Region has equipped itself with an IT platform, sardegna.concorsismart.it.

Applications can be submitted from today until November 22, 2021.
