The Ironik Folktronik Festival is about to close with a bang. On Sunday, the Organica Museum will host the final act of the eleventh edition of the event, conceived by the cultural association Sonos & Sounds, which has become a hub for Sardinia's alternative music scene.
After traversing Sardinia's forests, lakes, museums, mountains, and churches, for the finale of the 2025 edition, Ironik lands in the evocative museum nestled in the Limbara Park, and does so with a series of immersive experiences dedicated to electronic music, art, and landscape.
The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a trek to the peaks of Limbara accompanied by environmental hiking guide Antonio Sotgiu. The moderately difficult trail will pass through pine and holm oak forests and skirt the scenic Rio Pisciaroni waterfalls, offering participants a panoramic view of Corsica, Anglona, and Logudoro.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Organica Museum, Patrizia Pizianti will lead a Somatic Yoga session, a mindful movement practice that promotes tension release, improves posture, and reconnects the mind-body connection. The class will conclude with a sound bath with Tibetan singing bowls, for a total relaxation experience.
At 11:30 a.m., the museum will offer a guided tour of the site-specific works installed among the clearings and Mediterranean scrub of the Curadureddu Forest. Starting at 3 p.m., the musical journey will unfold, encompassing synth pop, avant-pop, traditional folk, urban dance, dark ambient, techno, and electronica. The lineup will feature artists and DJs from the island and international scene, culminating with Thomas Brinkmann, a world-renowned German producer and artist, pioneer of microhouse and master of vinyl manipulation, and a key figure on the international electronic music scene.
Throughout the day, the Organica Museum will also host two free-to-visit exhibitions: “Starwatching” by artist Valentina Daga, curated by Giannella Demuro, and “Like a Leaf” by illustrator Toni Demuro, curated by Emiliano Longobardi.
