Bad news for Fise, forced to cancel the International Endurance and the Sardinia Pony Show due to the failure of ASVI to start.
«Fise Sardinia – we read in the press release – takes note of the lack of political will on the part of the Councilor for Agriculture of the Todde Council to start the Asvi Sardinia agency, and therefore is forced to cancel all the events scheduled in collaboration with the same agency."
And again: «Despite the reassurances received from various quarters and from councilor Gian Franco Satta himself, no initiative would have been adopted by the regional council, and the Asvi agency is still blocked. It would seem that Satta's will is to postpone the launch (scheduled for January 1, 2024 by LR no. 15 of 24/11/2023) of the Asvi Sardegna agency, postponing it to 2025". The fact is that Fise Sardinia had to cancel all the events planned in collaboration with Asvi, and among these the closest races on the calendar, namely the International Endurance, also a stage of the circuit promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Soveranità Alimentare, which should have been staged from 31 May to 2 June, and the Sardegna Pony Show, dedicated to the world of disabilities and children (it was scheduled for 7 to 9 June).
In particular, the cancellation of the first race will prevent the qualification of Sardinian horses for the World Endurance Championship, with consequent economic and image damage for all of Sardinia.
