No more services for models without Android
The date of January 4th marks the end of an era. From tomorrow, in fact, all BlackBerry smartphones that use with the operating system of the same name will no longer work as the company will discontinue support for BlackBerry OS 10 and 7.1, in addition to previous versions. On these devices, it will no longer be possible to make phone calls or receive calls, send or send messages and access the internet.
The block does not come as a surprise but was announced in September last year.
Instead, BlackBerry-branded phones with Android will continue to work smoothly.
