She showed off on her social profiles with an eye patch, Valeria Marini spoke to the weekly "Chi" about the drama she experienced in recent weeks: "I risked losing my sight," said the Sardinian-born showgirl.

The problem was discovered almost by chance during the medical examination she underwent before joining the cast of the Spanish reality reality Supervivientes: "My doctor detected an eye problem, he did not tell me immediately because according to him he would not have prevented from participating in the reality show. But when I went out in June he showed me the tests and recommended that I be seen in Italy by my ophthalmologist, because it was a delicate thing ".

But it was summer, “I had so many things to do”, so Valeria Marini postponed - too much - the operation, until it was evident that she too had to intervene immediately to avoid losing sight in one eye.

To create problems for the showgirl was a "macular hole", a lesion in an area of the retina that compromises vision.

"I did the surgery with a fear that I won't tell you", he said. He tried to the last excuse to postpone him: "I phoned the hospital the night before asking to postpone it. 'Don't try it', they replied ".

Before this problem, he recalls, “I've always seen great, I've always had perfect eyesight, ten tenths”.

Fortunately, now, after the eye surgery, she is much better. But he has to keep a bandage: “I'm recovering gradually, I made only one exception on the bandage, on the occasion of lunch with my friend Alfonso Signorini. I thought I could do it, but at the check in the hospital they scolded me ”.

The name of Valeria Marini is now circulating as a possible new entry in the house of Big Brother Vip, as a guest star.
