Dinamo is not unblocked as it also loses in the Eurocup. At the PalaSerradimigni, Estudiantes Madrid won 72-65, inflicting their fourth defeat of the season on the Sassari team. Hollingshead's 5/6 in triples (22 points) and Raca's excellent first half (15 points) are not enough for a group that still doesn't have enough understanding, even if the progress compared to the championship is evident.

Tear-off race. The Sassari team was a little soft at the start (0-6 and 4-10) then began to defend strongly and, led by Raca, scored a break of 16-2 which was worth 20-12.

In the second quarter the inertia seems to be in the hands of Dinamo who even go up by 9 in the 17th minute, but two triples from Treffers and Massey revive Madrid who even manage to go into the break ahead: 29-30.

In the third quarter Estudiantes tries to break away: 29-35 at 22'. Dinamo scores from the arc with three different players: Carangelo, Raca and Hollingshead for the 10-0 break, but the Spaniards react. The last two minutes are a show by Treffers who with 7 points puts Madrid ahead: 48-54.

In the last quarter the gap grows despite Hollingshead's triples: 54-62 in the 34th minute. Dinamo fights but is not yet compact and is unable to straighten out the match.
