The TV series "The Crown" "revives" the famous kiss of the scandal between Diana Spencer and Dodi Al Fayed: a shot that gave the world "proof" of the love affair with another man of the then wife of Prince Charles of England.

The shot is very famous: it was taken by the photographer Mario Brenna who managed to immortalize Lady D and her lover in tender attitudes aboard a yacht sailing off the island during the summer of 1997, at the end of which the two will find tragically their death in Paris, just as they were trying to escape the paparazzi.

The photo was put on the cover of the Sunday Mirror, on a front page that made history, accompanied by the caption: "The Kiss".

Today, 26 years later, we are talking about that kiss again, because the Netflix TV series "The Crown" reconstructed that day in August, in the second episode of the sixth season, released in mid-November and entitled "Two Photographs", starring, in the role of Diana and Dodi, the actors Elizabeth Debicki and Khalid Abdalla.

Netflix has so far made four episodes of this latest season available, which retrace the fateful summer of 1997 and which have caused a lot of discussion in the United Kingdom.

The release of the other six is scheduled for December 14th and, also in this case, fans of the series are wondering how the facts and consequences that triggered that sensational, yet fateful, kiss between the princess and the Egyptian tycoon will be reconstructed and represented. they exchanged each other in the crystalline sea of Sardinia.
