The Pozzomaggiore Choir turns thirty. An important goal achieved by the Cultural Association which saw the light in 1993 and which aims to promote and enhance local singing and traditions.

«Trint'annos cantende, thirty years together, thirty years of choir, thirty years where we grew up, we grew up, some got married, some had children and some then became choristers - they write on their Facebook page - . There are those who have always been there, those who have gone away, and those who have joined over the years, those who unfortunately have left us and we miss them dearly. We saw different generations singing together. Thirty years of rehearsals, performances, concerts, squares and stages, around Sardinia, Italy and Europe... thirty years of laughter and moments where we thought about giving up but then the passion and love for singing have always made us want to be together again."

«It is not easy to stay in an association for thirty years and yet there are those who have managed to always carry forward the name of the Pozzomaggiore Choir - continue from the Association -. Thirty years of singing is a goal that none of those young people who formed this choir in 1993 expected to reach even in the best of their dreams and instead we are here to tell you about it and we thank you for supporting us on this long journey, always trying to be ambassadors of our country, with pride and belonging. However, we still like this journey a lot and we don't want to stop, perhaps to reach other goals, always with the same desire to be a choir and sing together."

An anniversary that will be celebrated on Sunday 26 November: at 10am, in the cemetery, the association will pay homage to the deceased choristers. At 11.30am Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Parish of San Giorgio
