It had become a topic of discussion at the end of the match between Cagliari and Lecce. So much so that Ranieri, speaking to Baschirotto who complained about the constant slowdowns in restarting the game, replied to him, as reported by the Dazn correspondent on the sidelines: "We're risking our lives on it, you would have done it too."
It is certainly not the first time this has happened on football pitches, yet Cagliari has been fined. A fine of 10 thousand euros to the club "as objective liability for having its ball boys, from the 40th minute of the second half until the end of the match, systematically slowed down the regular resumption of the game" . This can be read in the statement from the sports judge, who also disqualified two Cagliari players.
At San Siro we will obviously miss Gaetano, who was sent off against Lecce, and Augello who, having received a booking, was booked in Sunday's match at the Domus. The others disqualified: Barrenechea (Frosinone), Folorunsho (Verona), Piccoli (Lecce), Weah (Juventus).
