Retreat in Sardinia, confirmed team block, a coach devoted to beautiful football and the ambitious project of returning to the professionals: a few days before the press conference that will reveal the plans for the next Serie D championship, there is no shortage of suggestions around Olbia.

On Tuesday, the club will present its new coach and the program for the season, and the fans are hoping for the goal of winning the championship to return to Serie C, a category lost last year at this time, and begin the climb towards that Serie B indicated as the goal by the Swiss owners when they took office, in November 2023. And that the last troubled year, closed with a direct salvation that was not a given, served as a lesson to the management.

Among the items on the agenda of the club chaired by Guido Surace, however, stands out the approval of the previous season's budget, to be attached to the application for registration to the championship that will be presented in the second week of July. Approval that will also involve minority shareholders, and among them Alessandro Marino: the former president of the whites and his associates Gian Renzo Bazzu and Alexandre Tartara still hold 30 percent of the shares of Olbia Calcio, which, despite the invitation, SwissPro has not yet acquired. And who knows, maybe Tuesday's press conference will bring news on this front too.
