The fourth edition of the event dedicated to Vittorio Inzaina , the first Sardinian singer to participate in the Sanremo Music Festival, was presented in Telti . A great performer who inspired an event that over the years has become much more than a singing competition: it's an opportunity to give voice to talent, promote the island's culture, and transform a passion into a path of growth.
The award is preparing for three intense evenings, from August 21st to 23rd, filled with emotion and music. Mayor Vittorio Pinduccu, at the presentation, highlighted the emerging "Il Parco della Musica" facility, which the administration plans to provide a place of training and study for the many people in Telti who choose to explore the world of music and singing. The facility, taking shape by transforming a former slaughterhouse into the long-awaited community center, will be named after Vittorio Inzaina.
Also at the speakers' table were Councilor Matteo Sanna, Marilena Suelzu, president of the Telti Pro Loco, Vittorio's daughter Giada Inzaina, Gian Mario Inzaina, city councilor and Vittorio's nephew, and Claudia Aru, singer-songwriter and vocal coach, who will lead the artistic journey in her debut as artistic director of the competition after years of leadership by maestro Giovanni Budroni, whom the administration thanked for his invaluable collaboration.
This year, the Award is open to everyone, with no experience limits and no entry fee. Three evenings, each with its own winner, for three different categories : children aged 5 to 14, young people aged 15 to 30, and, with a smile that captures the entire philosophy of the event, the "Ragazzi da molto" (Young People of Long Time), dedicated to those over 31 who continue to pursue their passion.
To participate in the selection process, which is still open, simply submit a one-minute video . A simple recording, even made with a smartphone, as long as it's live. No gimmicks, no special effects: just your voice, your interpretation, and your ability to inspire emotion. Each winner will receive one thousand euros, a commemorative plaque, and, most importantly, free enrollment in the annual Casteddu Voice Lab course, the singing school founded and directed by Claudia Aru. This training program will accompany the artists for months, offering technical tools, personal growth, and ongoing dialogue. Alongside the category prizes, there are two special awards that capture the essence of the competition. The "Lingua Sarda" Award, for the best interpretation of a song in the Sardinian language, and the "Best Unreleased Song" Award, which will offer the winner the opportunity to produce a professional music video. This opportunity is also reserved for the overall winner of the competition, in the spirit of a competition that doesn't simply celebrate talent, but seeks to nurture it, accompanying it beyond the stage. Finally, the Enchanted Island Award, which this year will be presented to champion Gianfranco Zola, will feature Grazia di Michele and Moses Concas, and will feature a singing performance by Giada Inzaina. The Telti Pro Loco will once again be organizing the three evenings. The event is organized by the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Telti, with the support of the Sardinia Region and the patronage of Rai Tre and the Mario Cervo Archive.
