More medals for the Azzurri at the World Swimming Championships in Melbourne. And of the most precious metal: the blue quartet made up of Mora, Martinenghi, Rivolta and Deplano won the gold medal in the 4X50 medley relay race . And, with a time of 1'29"72, the four Azzurri also set the new world record .
From applause, once again, even Gregorio Paltrinieri . The Italian swimming champion won gold in the 800m freestyle race , ahead of the Norwegian Christiansen and the French Fontaine.
«I'm very happy - Greg said after the race - for me and also for the victory of the relay: as Italy we are very strong».
Sara Franceschi , on the other hand, won the silver medal in the women's 400 medley race , preceded only by the American Flickinger.
