He's only 28 years old, but Patrick Mahomes is already one of the best quarterbacks of all time. After tonight, even more. His Kansas City Chiefs won the 58th Superbowl , the playoff final of the American football championship, the most followed sporting event in the world.
At the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the San Francisco 49ers were beaten in the final, with a 25-22 score in the name of Mahomes, in fact, and Travis Kelce, the tight end in charge of "converting" the Texan star's inventions into touchdowns.
For the Chiefs it is the third title in five years, but above all the second in a row : a back to back, the encore, had not happened for twenty years, when it was Tom Brady who closed it with his New England Patriots. Great show at halftime, as always, for Usher's half-time show.
