The decree law with urgent provisions for agricultural, fishing and aquaculture businesses, as well as for businesses of national strategic interest, was approved this evening by the Council of Ministers.
The document also includes forecasts on photovoltaics. As the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida explained, «let's put an end to the wild installation of photovoltaics on the ground, let's intervene with pragmatism by safeguarding some areas. We have chosen to limit this ban to productive land" for example "it will be possible to continue producing energy in the quarries" and "we will safeguard the Pnrr funds which we do not intend to question in any way". In short, the projects already presented are safe.
A decree which, however, was clarified during the press conference, blocks future projects, and which therefore "mocks" Sardinia. In fact, on the island, programming has already, in most cases, surpassed the planning phase.
Another prediction concerns the role of the commissioner for drought, Nicola Dell'Acqua, whose powers are strengthened. is authorized «to carry out emergency interventions to make the Italian water system more efficient». Drought, Lollobrigida said, "is not an emergency, it hits our territory in a devastating way every five years or so."
