"A rain of black butterflies" is the book that Stefania Vargiu will present this evening at 6.30 pm, at the Orto Giardino of Mariposa de cardu, the project of Il Crogiuolo - theatrical intervention center in memory of Luisa and Stefano Atzeri, which develops in the locality On Idanu in Quartucciu (entrance from via Mameli). Mariposa de cardu promotes sustainable mobility and invites everyone to go to the garden by bus (CTM line 30), on foot or by bicycle, which can also be kept inside the space. For those who really can't do without a car, remember to park in the streets surrounding Via Mameli.
And then the invitation is to use water bottles, avoiding plastic bottles. "A rain of black butterflies" is an autobiographical and introspective work, which highlights the courage, not everyone's, to tell oneself from the inside, to crystallize one's emotions, marking them with a seal that prevents them from fading by mixing with the everyday life. Emotions that the author then gives to the reader. But Stefania Vargiu's is not ostentation, if anything it is an urgency to share passions, anxieties, disturbances, joys, sufferings through the story of moments that, normally, are part of everyone's most protected interior.
In this story the reader feels close to Stefania Vargiu and experiences her emotions, reliving his own different and identical ones. He accompanies her along her journey, with the hope that in the end the butterflies will lose their black color as a sad omen. Hope becomes certainty when, together with her, he sums up his life experience and, perhaps, his own.
