Francesco Bagnaia on the official Ducati won the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez de la Frontera in the MotoGP class. Second was Marc Marquez on Ducati Gresini ahead of Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Vr46 Racing), third. However, the world championship leader, Jorge Martin on Ducati Pramac, crashed with 15 laps to go, while he was in the lead and fighting with Bagnaia.
Pecco thus recovers 25 points from Martin, moving into second place -17 points away in the World Championship standings.
For Bagnaia it is the 20th victory in MotoGP (the second this year, the third in Jerez in the top class): a success that allows him to equal Freddie Spencer in 15th place in the all-time rankings.
