Sardinian rosé wine gains international attention with an unmissable event at Palazzo Doglio

On June 19th, the “I LOVE ROSÉ” event returns, created by the So Chic winery! which will inaugurate the Cagliari summer in the evocative setting of the Corte Doglio. This one-of-a-kind event brings together the best Sardinian wineries to celebrate rosé wine, with the participation of Audarya, Mesa, Santadi, Saraja, Sella & Mosca, Siddura, Surrau, So Chic! and Tenute Aini. For just €15, visitors will be able to taste three different rosés accompanied by street food, all accompanied by live music.

At the center of this event is the So Chic! winery, the only one in Sardinia specialized exclusively in the production of excellent rosé, entirely made with Cannonau di Capo Ferrato. Founded four years ago by Isabelle and Jean-Paul Tréguer, two Parisian marketing and advertising experts, it stands out for its unique mission: to develop the rosé wine market on the island and make Sardinia recognized not only for bottles of red or white.

The success of So Chic! it was extraordinary, not only in Sardinia and Italy, but also in international markets such as the USA, France and Switzerland. Their wines are appreciated in gastronomic restaurants, 4 and 5 star luxury hotels, rooftops and exclusive beach bars. Among the numerous awards obtained, the prestigious "Golden Anfora" award at Vinitaly stands out, with an exceptional rating of 97.2 out of 100.

Particularly loved by women for its lively colour, versatility, freshness, alcoholic lightness, rosé wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif, combined with any type of food, during sunny days or on holiday. In recent times, men have also broadened their taste horizons, including rosé in their preferences alongside traditional spirits and beer.

Jean-Paul and Isabelle's vision is proving to be a winner: Sardinia can truly become a credible alternative to the rosés of Provence. Tangible proof of this success is represented by the Nudo di Siddura rosé, recently elected "best rosé in the world", which will be present at the "I LOVE ROSÉ" event. This recognition further strengthens the attractiveness of rosés “made in Sardinia” and underlines the potential of Cannonau in creating excellent rosés.

All we have to do is go to Palazzo Doglio to try them all, obviously with an inevitable touch of pink in our outfit.
