A day of announcements at Olbia Calcio, which bids farewell to Nicolas Rizzi and welcomes back Guido Tamponi and Diego Di Gennaro.

To begin with, the club has made official this evening the termination of the contract of the 2006-born midfielder, who arrived in Gallura in the summer, with a press release. "Olbia Calcio 1905 announces that it has definitively sold the sports services of the footballer Nicolas Rizzi to Avezzano Calcio. The club wishes Nicolas the best for the continuation of his career," the press release reads.

At the same time, via social media, Olbia has made official the entry of Tamponi into the technical staff of the first team and Di Gennaro into that of the youth team: the former midfielder will lead the Under 17 of the whites, taking over from the bench from Tore Melino, who has been definitively promoted to the technical leadership of the Under 19.

«Olbia Calcio 1905 announces that Guido Tamponi is the new assistant athletic trainer of the first team and will take care of the recovery of injured players. Among his professional experiences as an athletic trainer – we read in the post published tonight – there are four Eccellenza championships (Budoni and Calangianus) and five Serie D championships (Budoni and Arzachena). Last season he was part of the Olbia Calcio 1905 U17 team. Welcome back Guido!».

So, Di Gennaro: «Olbia Calcio 1905 announces that Diego Di Gennaro is the new coach in charge of the U17. Born in '84, he started his football career in Olbia Boys. He then moved to Olbia Calcio 1905 where, after going through the youth sector, he reached the first team. With the white jersey he won two championships: one in Serie D and one in Eccellenza. Among other experiences as a footballer, he boasts a past with the jerseys of Foggia, Vicenza and Reggiana. Welcome back Diego!».
