It's now official: Gianmarco Fiorletta has signed for Olbia. The club announced the signing in a statement highlighting the player's qualities. Coach Giancarlo Favarin has called him up for tomorrow's away match against Trastevere.

A midfielder born in 2006, Gianmarco Fiorletta joins us bringing quality, technique, and great versatility: he can play as a playmaker, a central midfielder, and even in a more advanced position. A young but already mature player, ready to provide pace and solutions to our midfield, the statement reads. Gianmarco developed through Frosinone's youth teams, moving up from the U17 to the U19 level, and continued his journey with experiences that have solidified his character and vision. He's a modern, intelligent player, capable of playing multiple roles based on the team's needs and the dynamics of the match.

In short, the player Olbia needs, having quickly lost Nicolò Maspero, Gianmarco Staffa, and Gabriele Lobrano in midfield. Fiorletta began the season in Serie D with Sondrio, strongly sought after in Valtellina by Marco Amelia, and was released after the former Olbia manager was relieved of his duties on November 10th.

But the young midfielder from Alatri has had a hand in shaping the team, with another old acquaintance of the whites having played a part: Leandro Greco, who, like Amelia, coached him in the Frosinone youth team.
