Now it's official: Cristian Totti is an Olbia player. The 18-year-old striker, son of an artist, will wear the white shirt in the next Serie D championship: the Gallura club announced this in a short note.

“Olbia Calcio is pleased to announce the arrival of Cristian Totti, attacking midfielder born in 2005 and son of the legendary Francesco Totti”, reads the press release published this evening. “Following in his father's footsteps, Cristian has breathed football since he was a child, starting in Roma's youth team. After taking his first steps in the Giallorossi club, Cristian continued his career in Frosinone and then in Spain at Rayo Vallecano, showing great determination and constant growth."

And again: “We are thrilled to welcome Cristian and we are certain that he will be able to write an important page for our club. Welcome! May your journey with us be full of success and satisfaction! Good luck".

It is likely that in Olbia the young Totti will find Marco Amelia, who coached him last year in Frosinone, in the Under 18 team: the signing of the former Lupa Roma and Livorno coach is expected in the next few hours.
