Mario Isoni is no longer the coach of the Olbia Under 19 team. The coach, born in 1970, was fired this morning by the club, which made official in a few lines the decision taken and communicated to the person directly concerned yesterday evening.
"The club announces that Mario Isoni is no longer the coach of the Under 19 team. We thank Mario for the work he has done and wish him the best for the rest of his career," the note reads.
Former goalkeeper and former player of the whites, Isoni had returned to Olbia in the technical staff of the youth sector at the beginning of September, and between the dismissal of Marco Amelia and the arrival of Lucas Gatti he led the first team, going on the bench on 6 October in the home match against Real Monterotondo, lost 0-1.
While waiting to find out the name of Isoni's successor at the Under 19s, this morning at the Geovillage La Rosa, Anelli and Santi trained separately: the three players were among those called up yesterday by president Guido Surace to discuss the termination of their contracts.
