Serie C football, Olbia makes Zallu, Palomba and Cavuoti official
The three under arrive on loan from Cagliari for next season
Now it's official: Francesco Zallu, Luigi Palomba and Nicolò Cavuoti arrive in Olbia on loan for the next Serie C season.
A full-back, a central defender and an attacking midfielder, all born in 2003 , who complete the roster available to the new coach Leandro Greco , already at work in the Buddusò training camp. Last year, the three rossoblù unders collected a few call-ups to the first team in Serie B , and Cavuoti also made his debut in the Italian Cup playing a quarter of an hour against Bologna.
But the Gallura one will represent for them a debut among professionals in all respects. Right wing defender, Zallu, born in Sassari, was considered an immovable piece of Cagliari Primavera, with whom he recorded 71 appearances, 2 goals and 3 assists. Ditto Palomba, who grew up in the youth sector of Padova and landed in Cagliari in 2017, where in the Spring in two seasons he totaled 76 appearances, 6 goals and 3 assists. Finally, Cavuoti, from the Vastese school, has been at Cagliari since January 2020: 7 goals and 8 assists for him in the rossoblù.
The three loans were communicated by Olbia Calcio today , around lunchtime, but Zallu, Palomba and Cavuoti joined the group yesterday and have already played the first training session in the white shirt.
