This summer, Torres moved on the market with very specific objectives, as underlined by the sporting director Andrea Colombino: «We had to strengthen an already strong team and a group that has values, we managed to do it, taking players with the technical characteristics that we lacked and who could blend well with those who were already there».
The rossoblù ds explains that the strategy does not only concern this championship but also the next ones to have a competitive team at a high level : «This is why we have extended so many contracts and this is why we have taken on young players who we think can grow like Francesco Ruocco did, who then went to Serie B».
Andrea Colombino then clarified the position of defender Riccardo Idda: «At the moment he is out of the list because he has to undergo conservative therapy (for the problem with his ankle) but we are waiting for him and as soon as he is ready, he will return».
