The countdown to Ardia 2026 has begun, with the organizational machinery already in full swing. The Santu Antinu Parish Association, the municipal administration, and the army of volunteers are ready to welcome the thousands of people expected again this year. With the religious and civic program finalized, the community is preparing for a busy few weeks in honor of Saint Constantine.

The event kicks off on Saturday, June 27th, with the ritual of preparing the cartridges, followed by the Ardia horse race on Monday, June 29th, at 7:00 PM. The event really gets going on Sunday, July 5th, with Masses at 8:00 AM in the parish church, at 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM at the Sanctuary, and at 7:30 PM, all eyes will be on the Ardia de sos pitzinnos, the horse race with barrels, a new feature for the little ones.

The most anticipated moment will arrive on Monday, July 6th. Masses at the Sanctuary will begin at dawn, starting at 6:00 a.m. and then every hour, followed by the celebration in the parish at 9:30 a.m. and the solemn concelebration at 11:00 a.m. at the Sanctuary. In the afternoon, after the services at 6:30 p.m. in Piazza San Giovanni, the Sas Pandelas will be handed over, a prelude to the Ardia at 7:00 p.m., led by Danilo Pes, accompanied by the Sedilo riflemen and the Luigi Canepa band from Sassari.

On Tuesday, July 7th, the flags will be handed over at 7:30 a.m., followed by the second Ardia at 8:00 a.m., this time accompanied by the Villanova Monteleone band. In the afternoon, at 6:30 p.m., solemn vespers in the parish will precede the procession of San Costantino through the town streets. On July 19th, the octave, the evocative Ardia on foot will take place, led by Davide Muscau, accompanied by the riflemen and the Calangianus band.

Alongside the religious celebrations, there will be a rich civic program. On Monday, June 29th, at 9:00 PM, the Sanctuary will host traditional dances with Matteo Scano's accordion and accordion. On Sunday, July 5th, at 10:00 PM, there will be a concert by Maria Giovanna Cherchi. On July 6th, at 10:30 PM, Piazza Pasquale Cocco will host the ethnic evening of Fantasias de Ballos, while on July 7th, also at 10:00 PM, "Sedilo in Festa – Music, Traditions and Entertainment" will take place, hosted by Giuliano Marongiu, featuring folk groups from across Sardinia and numerous artists. The cultural space will open on Friday, July 17th at 8:30 PM with elementary school poetry readings and a poetry competition in Piazza Regina Margherita, while on Saturday, July 18th, the riding arena will host the regional team competition. In the evening, at 10:00 PM, there will be a grand concert by Elettra Lamborghini. The civil celebrations will conclude on Sunday, July 19th, at 10 pm, with the Istedos ethnic evening.
