If you are used to taking screenshots of private conversations in Messenger chats, it will soon no longer be a mystery to your interlocutor. It was Mark Zukerberg himself, founder of the social network, to explain that the person with whom you exchange messages will be notified of the photo taken via screenshot.

"New update for end-to-end encrypted Messenger chats so you can be notified if someone takes a screenshot of a disappearing message," explained Zuckerberg, who also added: "We are adding GIFs, stickers and reactions. even to encrypted chats ".

The function has already been introduced in the US and for Europe it could be active in the coming weeks. Of course, nothing will happen if the photo is taken on the screen by another device, but the process is actually not very popular.
