Among the magnificent canvases of the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Sassari, the evocative notes of Marco Scipione's saxophone will rise. The event on Tuesday, November 4th (starting at 9 pm) features the concert "Solo" by the guest artist of Insulæ Lab - Centro di Produzione Musica (artistic direction by Paolo Fresu ), organized in collaboration with the General Directorate of Museums and the Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia .

The event continues the action of opening the Pinacoteca to other arts, and speaking of opening, it should be remembered that tomorrow admission will be free as every first Sunday of the month.

Marco Scipione is one of the most intriguing, original, and acclaimed Italian saxophonists , known for his unique ability to blend jazz, electronica, fusion, ambient, rock, and metal. He uses effects to distort and shape the sound of his saxophone, drawing inspiration from diverse sources, including Radiohead's spirals of liquid notes and suspended atmospheres.

A visionary artist whose music is both an inner journey and a soundscape, an expression that traverses other dimensions through harmonic constructions that evoke both the familiar and the unknown, combining the improvisational freedom of jazz with the immersive qualities of ambient music.
