Gala evening with free admission to the Municipal Theater of Sassari, Friday at 8.30 pm, with a symphonic concert for the inauguration of the academic year of the “Canepa” Conservatory of Sassari. The event will be broadcast live on Videolina.
The “Canepa” symphony orchestra on stage. Which celebrates 20 years of activity, directed for the occasion by Andrea Raffanini and made up of about sixty elements, all students, former students and teachers of the Conservatory.
The evening's program, presented by Geppi Cucciari, proposes the Symphony n. 40 in G minor, Mozart's K 550 and the two symphonies Soirées musicales, op. 9 and Matinées musicales op. 24 by Benjamin Britten.
During the show, a plaque will be given in memory of Maestro Armando Marrosu, the great guitarist and teacher from Sassari who recently passed away. In addition, the cultural prize "A symphony for .." will be awarded to the tenor from Porto Torres Francesco Demuro.
