Sardinian poetry and literature, all the winners of the Ozieri Prize
Appointment with the delivery of the awards for Sunday 20 February
Everything is ready for the awards ceremony of the 62nd Ozieri Prize of Sardinian poetry and literature.
The appointment is for Sunday 20 February in the "Oriana Fallaci" Civic Theater (from 4 pm), with the possibility of following the meeting also live on YouTube.
The jury chaired by Dino Manca, professor of Italian Linguistics and Philology and of Sardinian Literature and Philology at the University of Sassari, worked hard to select the winning works in the three sections: Unpublished Sardinian Poetry "Antonio Sanna", Prose " Angelo Dettori "and Between Poetry and Cantigu" Antoni Cubeddu ".
The Olympic champion Filippo Tortu and the singer and actress Rossella Faa will be guests of the evening, for them a special recognition.
The conduct of the evening, in Sardinian language, was entrusted to the artist Claudia Aru. The president Vittorio Ledda and the secretary Antonio Canalis together with Marco Fenudi, artistic director of the event, did the honors.
The winning works will be recited by the protagonists of the Poetry Slam circuit for the Unedited Sardinian Poetry section, by the Fueddu and Gestu Company for the Prose section and by the singer Emanuele Bazzoni - accompanied by guitarist Nino Manca - for the section Between Poetry and Cantigu.
Other musical contributions will come from the Sassari musician Simone Sassu.

SPECIAL PRIZE “TONINO LEDDA” - Franco Piga di Romana - Sa briga.
SPECIAL PRIZE “FRANCO MARONGIU” - Maria Tersa Rosu di Lula / Orosei - M'assinzas sa 'este.
PROSA SECTION “ANGELO DETTORI” - First prize to Giancarlo Secci of Nurri / Quartu Sant'Elena - Unu sulitu de canna; second prize to Luca Mele from Ploaghe - Su ballu de sas animas biadas; third prize to Gonario Carta Brocca from Dorgali - Chicchia.
SPECIAL PRIZE "PANATHLON CLUB OZIERI" - Sandro Biccai of Sindia - Sa medal.
SECTION BETWEEN POETRY AND CANTIGU “ANTONI CUBEDDU” - First prize to Domenico Angelo Fadda from Thiesi - Si ti mancan sos fiores; second prize to Maria Sale di Chiaramonti - Los biso cun bon'ispera; third prize to Rachel Falchi from Sassari - Frinas de beranu.
SPECIAL PRIZE "BLESSED VIRGIN OF REMEDY" - Dante Erriu di Silius - To Srabadori Murgia Niola

From 1956 to today the growth path of the Ozieri Prize has been constant and with good reason it can be considered the most important and long-lived in Sardinia and among the first in Italy. The work of protecting the Sardinian language in all its variants has led the Association to have a literary heritage of inestimable value, so much so that a few months ago it was declared by the General Directorate of Archives of the Archival Superintendence of Sardinia "of particularly important historical interest" and placed under guardianship.
