«After the success of the first edition in the tourist port of Olbia , which had registered thousands of visitors, the 'Fiera Nautica di Sardegna' moved to Porto Rotondo. It will be an important moment of nautical promotion in Sardinia, a strategic sector in which the Region has decided to invest and which promises great satisfaction».

This was stated by the Regional Councilor for Tourism, Gianni Chessa , during the press conference to present the second edition of the event, organized by Cipnes Gallura (Northeast Provincial Industrial Consortium) and by the Municipality of Olbia , with the collaboration of the Regional Councilorship of Tourism and the patronage of Confindustria Nautica, which will be held from 21 to 25 April in the Marina of Porto Rotondo.

During the event, both shipbuilding (in Sardinia there are over 1,600 companies) and tourist ports (211 companies scattered throughout the region) will be showcased . The management of tourist ports, the construction of yachts, the nautical hotel, research for the eco-sustainability of the sector will be some of the topics covered during the Fair, which will also present moments of debate, sport and entertainment.

«An ever-expanding sector, an integral part of the tourism supply chain, with important repercussions also in terms of employment - added councilor Chessa - A Fair capable of generating development and promotion, proposing Sardinia as a destination with unique characteristics, up to to make it an exceptional nautical center in the Mediterranean. We must consolidate our tourist offer linked to the economy of the sea in all sectors, proposing ourselves as a reference destination for national and international flows. The upcoming Dusseldorf Fair, in which Sardinia will be present from 21 to 29 January, represents an excellent opportunity to also propose the Nautical Fair».
