Workplace accident in Orosei: worker electrocuted by high-voltage power lines

A serious accident occurred overnight in Orosei, where an Enel worker was electrocuted while trying to fix a fault.

A 28-year-old man from Orgosolo suffered serious burns. The worker was working on high-voltage cables and was struck by an electrical discharge, causing third-degree burns to his left hand and right leg .

Rescued by 118 operators, he was transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro and from there transferred to the Burns Center of the AOU of Sassari, at the Santissima Annunziata.

Inspectors from Spresal Nuoro responded to the scene of the accident and are investigating to determine the circumstances and possible responsibilities.
