With the SUV against a tanker on the Olbia-Sassari route, a 42-year-old man is serious

Serious accident this afternoon on the four-lane Olbia-Sassari road.

At the crossroads for Madonna di Castro, in the Oschiri area, a Volkswagen Tiguan traveling in the direction of Sassari crashed into a tanker.

The man driving the SUV, a 42-year-old from Sassari, is in very serious condition. Rescued by 118 operators, he was then taken in red code to the Sassari hospital.

The police and the Ozieri fire brigade were also on site. Traffic was slowed down for a few hours, no fuel leaked from the tanker and the driver was completely unharmed.
