Rain of fines on a Sunday at the Porto Conte Park , with the blitz of the Barracellare Company of Alghero in the green paths of the protected area .
The rural police have intensified their activities to prevent and repress crimes, by preparing targeted operations, punishing offenders who parked in the pine forest or camped in the most inaccessible areas . 188 administrative sanctions were contested for a total amount of 9,400 euros .
"Once again, it is demonstrated how important the collaboration between the Park and the Compagnia dei Barracelli of Alghero is, a collaboration of fundamental importance for the conservation of the protected natural areas of our territory" is the comment of the Park management.
« The operations to control the territory of the Regional Park and the Marine Area and to combat illegal behavior will be increasingly frequent », specifies the Commander of the Barracelli Capt. Riccardo Paddeu, who underlines the importance of respecting the regulations in force in order to guarantee greater protection of the environment and to prevent possible fires caused by negligent behavior and conduct.
