Tragedy on state road 554 at the intersection for Selargius and Settimo San Pietro: a man was hit by a car and died practically instantly .
This is the first reconstruction of what happened around five in the morning. The victim is a 46-year-old Nigerian man, driving the BMW that hit him, a 25-year-old woman who tested positive to the alcohol test.
On board the car were four young people from Assemini and Cagliari: they ended up in hospital, at Brotzu and at the Policlinico di Monserrato , for checks. Fortunately, their conditions are not serious.
On site were the 118 emergency workers, the fire brigade and the carabinieri. The road remained closed to allow for the surveys.
The dynamics are still being reconstructed: it seems that the victim was crossing the street when she was hit by the car.
