The section of the state road 131 at Bonorva, in the direction of Cagliari, was restored, damaged by a subsidence that had generated a chasm in the carriageway. The consolidation works on the road affected by the landslide were therefore completed about a year ago and since then closed to traffic.

"The carriageway will be reopened to traffic tomorrow", announces the regional councilor for Public Works, Aldo Salaris, retracing the steps that led to the closure of the construction site. "We intervened decisively and promptly, working in concert with Anas in a climate of positive and fruitful collaboration, with the aim of speeding up the times to once again guarantee a safe connection to the territory", explains the representative of the Giunta Solinas.

Numerous inspections have taken place during these months to check the status of the work and the various progress steps. For about a month, technicians and workers will move on the opposite lane to complete the hydraulic works.

In detail, the works involved the thorough rehabilitation of the carriageway and the safety of the road through the construction of three bulkheads. In addition, the hydraulic control system for the outflow of rainwater was built, for a total investment of 1.5 million euros.
