Violent rear-end collision in Nuraminis: the driver of one of the cars had been drinking

Road injuries and driving under the influence of alcohol.

With these accusations, the Nuraminis carabinieri reported a forty-one year old from Segariu with a clean record to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cagliari. The military intervened last night with Samassi's colleagues in aid of the Dolianova Company's radio car for an accident in Nuraminis along the state road 131 at km 27 + 200, towards Cagliari.

For reasons under investigation, the 41-year-old driver of an Audi collided with another vehicle driven by a 25-year-old from Cagliari who was traveling with 3 other people on board. After the violent impact, the two cars hit a concrete New Jersey, ending up in the middle of the roadway.

All the injured except the one reported, who remained unharmed, were rescued by the 118 of Sanluri who intervened and transported to the civil hospital "Brotzu" in Cagliari and to the Policlinico di Monserrato, for minor trauma, in yellow code. The immediate checks carried out with a breathalyser clarified the positivity of the reported person for an alcoholic level of 1.4 grams per liter. Withdrawal of the license was ordered, the vehicle was subjected to administrative detention.

The road network was interrupted for about two hours.
