Another lively and violent night in the center of Cagliari.

The owner of a pizzeria on Corso Vittorio Emanuele was attacked after he and his son tried to chase down a group of youths who had stolen the bag of a tourist customer.

On Via Roma, a 35-year-old foreigner ended up in hospital after an argument with a fellow countryman.

A 46-year-old man was arrested for stealing documents from a car parked downtown. Overnight, police identified 59 people in the red zone between Piazza del Carmine and Piazza Matteotti.
