Another lively and violent night in the center of Cagliari.

The owner of the Napul'è pizzeria on Corso Vittorio Emanuele was attacked after he and his son tried to chase down a group of youths who had stolen the bag of a tourist customer.

On Via Roma, a 35-year-old foreigner ended up in hospital after an argument with a fellow countryman.

A 46-year-old man was arrested for stealing documents from a car parked downtown. Overnight, police identified 59 people in the red zone between Piazza del Carmine and Piazza Matteotti.
