Emergency in Bancali prison. Last night two groups of inmates from the “High Security” circuit clashed violently.
"They threatened to kill each other and shouted all sorts of things, even throwing themselves at each other with rudimentary devices made with gas canisters," explains Antonio Cannas, national delegate for Sardinia of the Autonomous Union of Penitentiary Police.
"We have lived through hours of great tension, with the Blue Berets of the Corps ready to manage the serious event with professionalism and selflessness.
