Villasimius, new rules on the beach: no cigarettes and obligation to brush your feet

On the beaches of Villasimius, starting this summer, smoking will be prohibited and it will be mandatory to clean your feet before leaving.

The Municipality cracks down in the name of the environment . Too many cigarette butts abandoned in the sand, too many grains that disappear from the shorelines remaining stuck to the feet of thousands of bathers.

On the beaches, announced the mayor Gianluca Dessì, fenced areas will be created, with umbrellas and benches, where it will be possible to smoke , while on the walkways , brushes will be made available to bathers to clean their feet before leaving.
