Villasimius, caught fishing in the protected area: "I didn't know"

He was surprised by the environmental guards of Sardinia while he was underwater fishing in the sea of Campulongu .

And he would have defended himself by claiming that he "does not know" that he is inside the protected marine area of Capo Carbonara where underwater fishing is totally prohibited.

The fisherman came out of the water complete with a rifle and just harpooned prey: the environmental guards were waiting for him.

It was then the Municipal Police of Villasimius who identified the man, who will now have to pay a fine as required by the municipal regulation on the management of the protected marine area.
