Villaperuccio: The town square gathers to stop thieves inside the church.

A popular rally was held Wednesday night in Villaperuccio to protest the latest thieves' attack on the town's church.

As soon as word of the alarm raised by the parish priest spread, dozens of people took to the streets, some with sticks in their hands , determined to guard the church and track down those responsible, who however managed to escape.
