Villamassargia, arson attack against a small businessman

It is clearly a malicious fire that on Sunday night reduced to ashes an old Fiat Fiorino and a Mercedes 5 Series owned by a small building contractor from Villamassargia.

The alarm in via De Nicola was raised by the man's neighbors just before one o'clock, but the arrival of the carabinieri and firefighters only served to certify the serious damage to the vehicles, reduced to smoking carcasses and little more.

The man, a thirty-eight-year-old local, cannot explain himself. The intentional origin of the flames is clear given that the two vehicles are parked 6 meters away from each other. The Carabinieri of Villamassargia are investigating the matter.
