He was headed toward the Santa Barbara woods when he crashed into a truck on his enduro bike.

A 29-year-old motorcyclist from Villagrande was seriously injured in an accident that occurred around 7:00 PM today on provincial road 27, above the town.

The young mechanic, owner of a motorcycle workshop, suffered several injuries. His condition is critical but his life is not in danger.

He is hospitalized at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari where he was transported aboard Echo Lima 1, the Areus helicopter that took off from the Olbia base.

The investigations into the dynamics of the accident are underway by the Carabinieri of the Lanusei company who intervened on the scene.
