That ugly beast circulates in our country as if nothing were even due to a judicial system that allows these death sellers to act with impunity.

This is the drug: cocaine and lately also heroin. Families destroyed, children lost in the maze of a difficult society where unemployment has taken over for too long.

It was known that it was easy to buy drugs in Villacidro, but it was enough to ring the bell of a house at any time of day or night.

It is difficult to understand what we are really talking about when we do not know all the background of a family life destroyed by wanting to understand, at all costs, what drives a young person to deprive himself of that freedom that life has granted him.

Many guys have tried to leave that world, but there are those who, sniffing the deal, even giving a few small doses or "pippotto", resume selling him death, sure that this will come back. And yes it will come back.

Last night in Villacidro in via Giuseppe Pinna a drug addict bought a "pippotto" of cocaine. He got out of the car, rang a bell and within minutes he was out with his fix. It is not enough. Some time ago a boy had "escaped" from a community of Cagliari and went to the same dealer last night and bought a gram of cocaine. The boy was hospitalized urgently and was saved by the Brotzu doctors.

Fathers of families annihilated by situations incomprehensible to their eyes, often forced to see their children, blood of their own blood, reduce themselves to stealing anything to allow themselves the luxury of a dose of drugs.

Important operations of the police have unmasked, with names and surnames made public, a Villacidrese system dedicated to drug dealing that is the envy of large cities.

But the sense of impunity reigns supreme among these commoditators of death. Recently the carabinieri arrested a man for being found in possession of 200 grams of cocaine, but he was released and continued his business with impunity and free.

The judicial system has often made in vain the efforts of the police who have tried, with enormous sacrifices, to secure certain characters to justice. Too many do not want to see, many try to hide situations now under the eyes of all. One wonders what still needs to be done to try to eradicate this rot and make Villacidro a better town.

We don't always wait for tragedies to react, we try to frame these bastards and ensure them a less rosy future, perhaps behind the bars of a cell. Now those who stay in the courthouse have one more reason to do their duty. It would be enough to go to via Giuseppe Pinna.
