A 36-year-old from Sestu in trouble for buying a used motorcycle, but handing the seller an overdrawn check. Now he risks responding not only to insolvency, but also to fraud.

The report to the prosecutor's office was triggered after the complaint presented by a 24-year-old to the carabinieri of Villacidro . The young man had offered Beta a Beta RR Racing 400 motorcycle for sale, at a price of 4500 euros and the 36-year-old stepped forward to buy it.

After pre-arrangements, once the paperwork was exchanged, the buyer handed over a check. When it was time to go to cash it, however, the 24-year-old had a nasty surprise: there was no availability on the account.

At that point the lawsuit was triggered and the carabinieri started the investigation, alerting the competent authorities.
