At his seaside villa in Porto Rotondo, Bettozzi hosted actors, singers, politicians, and entrepreneurs. He always maintained close relationships with Sardinian professionals and businessmen, particularly those from Olbia.

In 2021, investigations by the Guardia di Finanza and the State Police involved several operators active in the real estate tourism sector in Olbia and Arzachena, including people very close to the woman.

Investigators from the Olbia Anti-Crime Squad and the Olbia Guardia di Finanza (Fiamme Gialle) are monitoring tourist accommodation businesses in the northeast of the island. The investigation will lead to the seizure of a hotel in Arzachena.
