Van against pickup truck on State Road 293: violent impact, man in serious condition
The air ambulance was on site and the injured person was transported under code red to Brotzu
A man was seriously injured in a bad accident that occurred this morning on the 293 , where for reasons to be ascertained, around 10.30 a van traveling along the main road towards Giba, immediately after the crossroads for Santadi-Villaperuccio , was violently rear-ended an Iveco Daily proceeding in the same direction.
The emergency number was called immediately: the Sant'Anna Arresi rescue volunteer ambulance was on site and the air ambulance took off from the Elmas base and landed in the center of the road.

The man rescued by medical staff was transported in code red to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari . The carabinieri from the Santadi station and the Carbonia mobile radio were also on site to carry out surveys and regulate the traffic which had been blocked for a long time .
