The Sardinians who have completed the vaccination cycle with the two doses of the anti Covid-19 vaccine exceed 83.2%. The average for Italy, on the other hand, lags further behind with 82.4%.

To these percentages - as the Gimbe Foundation notes - we must then add a further 2.9% of the population that received only the first dose.

In absolute terms, 1,331,788 people are vaccinated on the island, which, at the current rate of administration, could reach 85% by March and 90% coverage by June.

The percentage of those who took the third dose, 88%, was also higher than the average of the country (85.7%).

Children aged between 5 and 11 who have completed the vaccination cycle currently represent 27.3% (Italian average 25.4%) to which an additional 16.4% (Italian average 10.7%) must be added. ) only with the first dose.
