Uras, car on fire on 131: fear and inconvenience

Moments of fear in the early afternoon on State Road 131 near Uras : within seconds flames broke out from a car due to a breakdown.

The driver and passenger managed to escape to safety before the fire engulfed the car. The alarm was raised immediately and the Laconi traffic police and firefighters intervened on site.

The road remained closed during the rescue phase, then traffic resumed regularly without major inconvenience.
