The goal is to make it accessible not only during some occasions or scheduled guided tours, but always, with the aim of boosting cultural tourism.

A few days ago the Municipality of Uras led by Mayor Samuele Fenu approved the project for the "safety and enhancement" of the archaeological site "Sa Domu Beccia" , thanks to 200 thousand euros financed by the Region some time ago.

For the site, unique in Sardinia for the singular articulation of towers and fortified walls, this is a second important intervention. In fact, some time ago, when the old administration was in charge, the restoration works were carried out. Then, however, the Municipality of Uras obtained another 200 thousand euros to make it accessible and, as the administration has always declared, to include it in the tourist program.

The project at Sa Domu Beccia, launched between 2013 and 2014 with three objectives, has undergone several phases of implementation: first, securing and restoring it, with study and research, and then enhancing the site, considered the identity asset par excellence by the Uras community.
